Terms and Conditions for Rental of Chalet Poudreuse in Les Belleville, France
1. Parties and Definitions
- Owner: Property owners Chalet Poudreuse
- Guest: The person making the booking.
- Property: Furnished holiday home located in Les Belleville, France.
- High Season Weeks: Week 52 (Christmas), Week 1 (New Year), and the winter school holiday weeks (end of February). Exact dates are published annually on our website.
2. Booking and Payment
A 50% deposit of the total rental amount is required at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid 31 days before arrival.
- For bookings made within 31 days of arrival, the full amount is due immediately.
- Payments are processed via WooPayments, which supports Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bancontact, iDEAL, and credit/debit cards.
3. Cancellation Policy
- More than 31 days before arrival: Full refund of deposit.
- Within 31 days before arrival: No refund; full amount is due.
- High Season Weeks: No cancellation allowed; deposit is non-refundable even if canceled more than 31 days before arrival.
- Force Majeure: In case of events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), the agreement may terminated without penalty. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Occupancy and House Rules
- Maximum occupancy: 6 persons.
- Smoking, vaping, and pets are strictly prohibited.
- No walking inside the property with shoes or ski boots.
- Check-in: from 15:00. Check-out: before 10:00.
- Visitors are allowed, but parties and events are prohibited.
- Quiet hours: 23:00 to 07:00.
- Mandatory cleaning fee: €170.
- Mandatory towel and linen fee: €110.
5. Security Deposit
- A security deposit of €750 is required.
- The deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, provided no damage is found.
- Photos will be taken before check-in and after check-out as evidence in case of disputes.
6. Tourist Tax
- Guests must pay the local tourist tax of €5.39 per person per night (only adults), which will be added to the total rental amount.
7. Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
- The Owner is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
- Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Savoie department.
9. Privacy
- Personal data is processed in compliance with GDPR and used solely for booking and communication
